Ola S1 Pro Sport Launched in India: Price, Specs, Features and More

Ola Electric has officially unveiled its sportiest electric scooter yet, the Ola S1 Pro Sport, at the company’s annual Independence Day Sankalp event on August 15. While several specifications had leaked prior to launch, the company has now revealed the design, features, and finer details of the scooter, positioning it as a high-performance mainstream EV for India.

Ola S1 Pro Sport: Price and Availability

The Ola S1 Pro Sport is priced at:

  • ₹1.50 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom, inclusive of subsidies) for the 4 kWh battery variant
  • ₹1.65 lakh for the 5.2 kWh battery variant

Interestingly, the 4 kWh Pro Sport is priced lower than the Ola S1 Pro+ 4 kWh, despite offering additional features. However, the 5.2 kWh Pro Sport is ₹5,000 more expensive than the Pro+ variant.

Pre-bookings are open for ₹999, with deliveries expected to begin in January 2026, likely around Republic Day.

Ola S1 Pro Sport: What’s New

Design

  • New front fairing with an “X” motif
  • Front camera enabling ADAS features (a first for any mainstream 2-wheeler in India)
  • Carbon fibre front fender, sportier grab rails, taller handlebar cowl
  • Premium ORVM stalks and disconnected LED DRL signature
  • Larger 14-inch alloy wheels for a big-scooter stance

Performance

  • Top speed: 152 km/h (up from 141 km/h on Pro+)
  • Acceleration: 0–40 km/h in 2 seconds
  • Peak torque: 71 Nm
  • Motor output: Figures vary between 13 kW, 15.4 kW, and 16 kW (Ola yet to clarify)
  • Range: 320 km (same as Pro+)
  • Suspension retuned for a sportier ride

Technology and Safety

The biggest highlight is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, making the Ola S1 Pro Sport India’s first 2W with ADAS. Features expected with MoveOS 6 include:

  • Blindspot warning
  • Collision warning and avoidance
  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Traffic sign recognition
  • Other AI-enabled safety functions

The scooter may also integrate Ola’s upcoming indigenous 4680 battery cells after their debut in other Ola models.

Ola’s Growing EV Lineup

The launch follows Ola’s Gen 3 scooter lineup introduced in January 2025 and marks another step in the company’s effort to dominate India’s EV two-wheeler segment. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal highlighted that the S1 Pro Sport is designed to deliver a premium, performance-oriented riding experience, while still keeping it accessible to the mass market.
